Family Involvement
At San Juan School, we believe families are essential partners in student success. When families are engaged, students thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally.
We invite all Mountain Lion families to stay connected, share their voice, and participate in the many opportunities available throughout the year.
Whether you’re attending meetings, volunteering on campus, or supporting learning at home, your involvement makes a difference.
We encourage families to review the pages in the menu to the left for meeting dates, contact information, and ways to participate.
Together, we help our students Practice kindness, Act responsibly, Work hard, and Show respect — the PAWS way!
Ways to Get Involved:
ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee): ELAC provides families of English Learners the opportunity to advise the school on programs and services that support multilingual students.
PIQE (Parent Institute for Quality Education): PIQE workshops empower families with tools and strategies to support student academic success and prepare for future educational opportunities.
SSC (School Site Council): The School Site Council brings parents, staff, and community members together to review school goals and guide decisions related to student achievement and school improvement.
Home & School Club: Our Home & School Club helps build community through events, fundraising, and school-wide activities that support students and staff.
Volunteering: Families are welcome to volunteer in classrooms, at events, and in support of school programs. Your time and talents help strengthen our Mountain Lion community.
